Moon in Cancer, Moon & Mars Saturday night....Sun's in Aquarius....
Happy Sunday....it's cloudy and cool here in south FL today - our version of 'winter'. The Moon came into Cancer early this morning (3:05A EST) so staying home and 'cocooning' feels appropriate with Cancer ruling home. Did you see the Moon and Mars together last night (especially around 6:30-7:00P EST)? That energy had been building during the day and took place in Gemini so if you noticed crankiness, short fuses/tempers, impatience both on and off the road, that's why. If you're on Twitter you may have read my 'tweet' on that last night.
The Sun left Capricorn's mountain grounding for the high fequency airy dimension of Aquarius at 11:44A EST today (1/20). Mercury has already been in Aquarius since 1/7, and since it's going retrograde on 1/28, will be hanging out here till March 14. Neptune has been residing in Aquarius for several years, the North Node left Pisces for Aquarius on 12/18/07 (same day Jupiter entered Capricorn). We've got more activity coming next month when the Sun and Moon connect for a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, so this area of your chart has some traffic! This does bring in the undercurrent of detachment onto the scene for a while...even though we're still working on the Capricorn New Moon assignment of being accountable - to yourself first. Respond to your abilities and watch how you almost unconsciously start to restructure your whole life. When you step up and decide to find what you love from the inside out, as I think Mars being retrograde is trying to help us get in touch with, you start finding focus and direction. Mars has been trying to get us to slow down and realize what's been motivating us for a while - especially if you've been taking more actions because somebody else wanted you to, rather than get in touch with what you want to be doing because it's your passion. When you connect internally to your inner sense of purpose and discover your heart's desire(s), and let that be what motivates your actions, you will watch how things change!!
