Moon in Taurus...Sun in Virgo...and SATURN's on the way in
Somewhat Earthy weekend...with the Sun, Moon and Mercury in earth signs. Tomorrow (Sun 9/2) Saturn joins the Sun and Mercury in Virgo - starting a whole new 2.5 year cycle of structure in an area of our charts that hasn't had this energy for 29 1/2 years. I'll be doing a talk on this at The Crystal Garden on 9/20 - PLANETARILY SPEAKING: SATURN IN VIRGO with Amy J. Volkers A new cycle with Saturn in Virgo starts on September 2, 2007, where it hasn’t been since the late 1970’s. Find out your assignment and area affected for each of the 12 signs so you can plan accordingly for the next 2 1/2 years. Join us if you're in south Florida (and I'll be recording for those who can't be there in person).
The thing about planets in earth signs is that it tends to increase our urge/need to have something to show for what we've done with our time/energy etc. Virgo rules work and likes to stress logic. Though the Moon in Taurus is more about savoring experiences of the senses for this weekend...we are building toward new work energy (the 9/11 Solar Eclipse really launches that - if you want more info on that cycle, along with the Lunar Eclipse we just had, check this link for more info: http://www.avalonmoonquestes.com/generic83.html
Something to keep in mind for tomorrow (Sun 9/2) morning (before noon EDT) is that it's a good morning to ease into the day - not so much for detail work as the Moon squares Neptune offering the challenge of what's real ...and what's illusion, so be aware of what you're focusing on (or as aware as you can be).
